10 Highlights of Hong Duc University in 2017

1. The university was honored to be awarded the First Class Labor Medal by the Party & the State and successfully organized the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the University (24/9/1997 - 24/9/2017).
2. Hong Duc University is acknowledged forNational Quality Accreditation of Higher Education.
3. Scientific research projects and scientific research funding (at provincial, ministerial and state levels) include: 5 state-level research projects and NAFOSTED funds; 11 ministerial level projects; 9 provincial level projects.
4. 7 new undergraduate and postgraduate specialties were opened (02 doctoral courses, 4 master’s degree coursesand 1 bachelor’s degree course), adding to an aggregate of 4 Ph.D, 18 Master’s degrees & 36 Bachelor’s degrees)
5. Successfully converted to Quality Management System ISO 9001: 2015 and operating Quality Management System QMS ISO 9001: 2015.
6. 2017 Enrolment/admission accounted for over 80%, although high school students have multiple choices after graduation.
7. The university published the first scientific journal in English.
8. Students of the school won a range of high prizes in the national Olympic competitions (01 winner, 01 runner up and 02 third prizes in mathematics, 02 runner ups, 02 third prizes, 02 consolation prizes in physics) High achievements in the scientific research contest for students (Ministerial runner up).
9. Inaugurateand open the traditional room in proximity to the Square of the university.
10. Congress of socio-political organizations: Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, and Veterans Association of Hong Duc University, the term of 2017 - 2022 was an huge success./.
