A rainfall of awards in sports and music competition to celebrate Vietnam Women's Day

October 2018 is a month full of prizes for the Faculty of Foreign Languages. All teachers and students are full of the joys of spring with a series of awards in the sports and music competitions to celebrate the Vietnam Women's Day 20/10.
1. Badminton competition for Students
- Nguyen Van Cuong and Do Thanh Dung - K20 won the first prize for Mixed doubles
- Nguyen Van Cuong - K20 won the second prize for Men’s singles
- Cu Khanh Linh and Do Thanh Dung - K20 won the third prize for Women’s doubles
2. The Faculty’s Singing Contest for Students
There were 55 candidates registering for the competition and the judges selected 20 excellent ones to move on to the final round.
The result of the final round:
- The first prize belongs to Hoang Ngoc Dat - K21 (English linguistics and Literature)
- The second prize belongs to Le Thi Ut - K19 and Tran Thi Minh Anh - K18
- The third prize belongs to Trinh Thi Quynh - K38, Truong Thi Kieu - K20A and Le Thi Thuy Tien - K18
3. The University’s Singing Contest for Students
Round I, the Faculty of Foreign Languages has 6 participants including:
- Hoang Ngoc Dat - K21 (English linguistics and literature)
- Tran Manh Quang - K39
- Trinh Thi Quynh - K38
- Tran Thi Minh Anh - K18
- Truong Thi Kieu - K20A
- Tran Thi Ngoc Minh – K21 (English language teacher education)
Three students moved on to the round II
- Hoang Ngoc Dat - K21 (English linguistics and literature),
- Tran Manh Quang - K39
- Trinh Thi Quynh - K38.
Two students continued to move on to the final round:
- Hoang Ngoc Dat - K21 (English linguistics and literature) won the first prize
- Tran Manh Quang - K39 won the fourth prize
4. Flowers Arranging Contest
A group of male students in K21 (English linguistics and literature) participated in the contest and won the second prize.
5. Singing Contest for Teachers and Officers’ Couples
Ms. Le Thi Huong (A) and Mr. Luu Van Hau with the song “Liên khúc Làng tôi và những nẻo đường Việt Nam” (The Village and Vietnam’s paths) won fourth prize.
