Joint Scholarship Program for Vietnamese Doctoral Students

Hong Duc University and the University of Wollongong have a collaborative agreement to provide high quality research training to qualified students from Vietnam

Selected Vietnamese students will enrol in a designated program at UOW and undertake a Doctor of Philosophy degree (4 years) or a Master of Philosophy (2 years).

Successful applicants will be issued with a UOW-HDU scholarship which will provide a stipend of AUD $15,000 per year and an International Postgraduate Tuition Award (IPTA).

The stipend is offered up to 4 years for the Doctor of Philosophy and 2 years for Master of Philosophy in addition to this, each student will receive a AUD $3000 allowance each year.

Application Process

HDU will promote and recruit a pool of suitably qualified applicants for the UOW-HDU Research Scholarship Program. Applications nominated by HDU will apply to UOW by completing the online HDR application process.

There are two possible intakes, Autumn and Spring session, for UOW-HDU students every year under this program.

Finding a supervisor

UOW will provide a supervision team for each UOW-HDU student.
