Hong Duc University works with the delegation from the United State Embassy to Hanoi

On the occasion of the US visit to Hong Duc University, on 28 August, 2014, the Rector- Dr. Nguyen Manh An had a meeting with the delegation from the US Embassy to discuss about main points in the cooperative relationship between two sides.

               Dr. An briefly introduced Hong Duc University’s necessary information and proposed some cooperation and reciprocal exchange. The University showed the expectations in enhancing the competence and skills for the staffs who work in International Cooperation Department, particularly the force of English lecturers in cooperation with the US Embassy. The University would like the US Embassy to send native experts and volunteers to teach English and assist in organizing the conference “the development of local universities in association with enterprises”.

Political officer of the US Embassy, Mr. Greg D’Alesandro shortly presented the bilateral relationship between the US and Vietnam for the past 20 years and expected it to flourish greatly in years to come.

Mr. Greg also showed deep interests toward the propositions given by the University and committed to take into account these issues carefully, simultaneously believed in a prosperous bilateral relationship recorded with more mutual exchanges in the future./.
