Hong Duc University works with the Delegation from Oyabe City, Toyama Province, Japan.

November 17th, 2015, Hong Duc University, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Manh An, President, received and worked with the delegation from Oyabe City, Toyama Province, Japan, led by Mr. Sakurai Morio, Mayor of Oyabe City.

 In the working session, Mr. Matsuda Shohei, President of Oyabe Horticultural Vocational College (OHVC), representative of delegation, introduced the mainly training fields of College on planting vegetables, floriculture and agricultural sectors. The mission of OHVC is the link between economics, business administration and local government to develop local socioeconomic.

President of Hong Duc University briefly introduced some basic information and propose the prospects in exchange cooperation of faculty and students; organization workshops; learn the cultural traditions of 02 provinces and cooperation in training and science research, Dr. Nguyen Manh An also expressed deep concern and interest in the training model of the OHVC and suggested OHVC helping HDU train the professions that OHVC has strengths.

At the same day, the delagation also worked and exchanged with the Faculty of Agriculture Forestry and Fishery. They also suggested the possibility of cooperation in education and scientific research. Mr. Sakurai Morio, Mayor of Oyabe City, delegation representative expressed concern with Ganoderma farming model and the grid system, the nursery garden of Faculty of Agriculture, Forestry and Fishery.

The working session ended with success, opening up great opportunities and prospects for two parties to strengthen the relationship in the future./.
