On 18/01/2018, Hong Duc University held a scientific workshop "Strengths and weaknesses of Thanh Hoa people in today’s life". The scientific workshop was organized in the context of Provincial Science-Technology Project on "Research into the strengths and weaknesses of Thanh Hoa people in today’s life" conducted by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Thi Mai.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Thi Mai - Vice Rector delivers speech at workshop
The workshop were attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Thi Mai - Vice Rector; Representatives of the Provincial Propaganda and Training Commission, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Department of Education and Training, the Association of Provincial Enterprises, the Association of Historical Science and the Association of Provincial Ethnography; workshop paper writers, Hong Duc University lecturers and other relevant agencies.
The Organizing Committee has received nearly 20 papers from scientists, managers and lecturers in and out of the province. These papers have covered the issues including: identities of Thanh Hoa people-from the roots of traditional culture; Influential factors to contemporary Thanh Hoa people’s characteristics; Some strengths and weaknesses of Thanh Hoa entrepreneurs; some proposals to promote strengths and restrain weaknesses of Thanh Hoa entrepreneurs in the current circumstance; insight into the strengths and weaknesses of Thanh Hoa people through surveying students; survey on impressions and feelings about Thanh Hoa people in Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai and Binh Duong; the beautiful traditional values of land and people of Thanh Hoa; Characteristics of Thanh Hoa people; strengths and weaknesses of Thanh Hoa dialect; and Strengths & weaknesses of Thanh Hoa youth ...
At the workshop, 17 attendees delivered the speech and actively discussed linguistic characteristics; behavior of communication and; lifestyle, daily activities; public relations, and working relations of Thanh Hoa people. Scientists and lecturers, who were born and raised in Ha Noi, Hai Duong, Ha Tay, Quang Ninh, Nam Dinh, Thai Nguyen, Nghe An, Quang Binh, Hue are now married to the people of Thanh Hoa, shared their sincere opinions both by the eyes of the outsiders and by their love for the land and people of Thanh Hoa in the hope of bringing a more beautiful image of Thanh Hoa inhabitants to Vietnamese and foreigners.
Scientific workshop "Strengths and weaknesses of Thanh Hoa people in social life" has been a success. Mrs. Hoang Thi Mai - Vice Rector of the University, on behalf of the research team, gave a closing speech to appreciate the interest, enthusiasm and contribution of participants. All constructive comments would be taken into account to revise and complete the Project “Research into the strengths and weaknesses of Thanh Hoa people in today’s life"./.
