Hong Duc University (HDU) works with the Delegation of the University of Applied Sciences Zittau/Gorlitz (Germany).

On 4th April 2018, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Thi Mai, Vice Rector and representatives of the International Cooperation Division, the Faculty of Social Sciences, the Department of Tourism, welcomed and worked with the delegation of the University of Applied Sciences Zittau /Gorlitz, Germany led by Prof. Dr. Eva Pretzsch - Faculty of Management and Cultural Studies.
At the meeting, Dr. Hoang Thi Ha - Deputy Head of International Cooperation Division gave a brief introduction on the process of establishment and development, and training programs of the University.
Vice Rector Hoang Thi Mai emphasizes the role of international cooperation strategy in cooperation with Germany in order to improve the quality of training and science research of the University. At present, the University has implemented joint training and research programs with universities of Germany such as University of Greifswald, University of Friedlander Schule, University of Applied Sciences Anhalt. Hong Duc University expects to exchange and cooperate with Zittau/Gorlitz University of Applied Sciences through activities such as joint workshops, exchange of teaching materials and programs, student/faculty exchange, cooperative programs on tourism in order for community tourism development in Thanh Hoa.
On behalf of Zittau/Gorlitz University of Applied Sciences, Prof. Dr. Eva Pretzsch extends the gratitude to the warm welcome of Hong Duc Unversity. Zittau/Gorlitz University of Applied Sciences is a non-profit tertiary institution founded in 1992. The University features modern laboratories, lecture halls, high employability, and close links with domestic and international companies and organizations. The major training programs include: electricity - electronics and automation, chemistry, child education, communication psychology, culture and management, ecology and conservation, economics and languages, energy and environment engineering, health care management, information technology, social work. Mrs. Eva Pretzsch also said Zittau/Gorlitz University of Applied Sciences developed joint training programs in cooperation with countries in Asia, such as China. In Vietnam, the University has implemented joint training programs with the Southern Universities and has wished to carry out such programs with Northern Universities towards the development of community tourism.
The meeting took place in a convivial atmosphere and both sides desire to continue discussions and exchange for cooperation in time to come.
